Editorial Policy

FineData publishes technical content about web scraping, data engineering, and ethical data access. Articles are researched and written by the FineData Engineering team — not attributed to individual personas.

Who writes our content

All blog posts are authored by FineData Engineering, our internal team of engineers who build and operate the scraping platform. We do not use fake author profiles or stock-photo personas.

Quality gate process

Every article passes a four-level quality gate before publication:

  1. Rule checks — word count, code examples, internal links, banned phrases, and API accuracy.
  2. LLM review — scored on anti-AI tone, technical accuracy, SEO, promotional balance, and reader value.
  3. Semantic coverage — target keywords must be covered in assigned sections with concrete examples.
  4. Human review — articles flagged as needs review require manual approval before publish.

Banned content

  • Scraping Google Search, Google Shopping, or Google News results
  • CAPTCHA bypass for search engines or paywalled platforms
