Research Methodology

Our blog content is backed by reproducible engineering work — not marketing copy. This page describes how we verify technical claims before publication.

Code verification

Code examples in tutorials are tested against the live FineData API (https://api.finedata.ai) and real target websites. We use Authorization: Bearer authentication and document only endpoints from our public API reference.

Benchmark transparency

Performance claims include the test configuration: TLS profile, proxy type, JS rendering setting, and target URL class. We avoid invented statistics and prefer ranges observed in production workloads.

Source attribution

When citing legal, compliance, or platform policy information, we link to primary sources (official documentation, regulator guidance, or platform terms). We distinguish between public data access and terms-of-service constraints.

Expertise signals

FineData operates production scraping infrastructure daily. Our open-source MCP server (GitHub, PyPI) reflects the same API surface documented in our articles.
